Why did I take so long to find your music. I just downloaded a bunch of "Cold Frosty Morning" from iTunes and there was the style I was looking for. Bought the album too! Will explore more.

Bill! I've missed you, been trying to find a way to get hold of you recently. Just wanted to see how you were doing. Do you remember me? You taught me in high school, at UCA and then at my house? I'm living in Fayetteville now, and my mom's gone deeper south.
Well I hope you're doing well. Glad to see you came out with a new CD!

I have just reviewed your web site.
I love it. My favorite recordings are: The Ashgrove, Fiddling My life
away,(like the lyrics & singer),
Eftehia and Billy Lone Wolf. Songs in a minor key always get my attention . Your web site is interesting and very different.
I amazes me when I watch someone
play the fiddle. I have learned just enough to know It must be very
difficult with only 4 strings and
no frets.

Thank you so much for Greensleves! It's waltzing along soooo pretty with the harp & guitar & then when you blend in the violin I'm completely melted. This is a lovely CD - very relazing & soothing. Washes the worries away like a summer rain. I must say, however, that I do dance sometimes when you play that happy Mist on the Mountain. You make me smile, Bill.

Hi Bill,

I don't know if you remember me, so I'll remind you. I cleaned your teeth at Dr. Jones' office this week. I talked to my son, Jason. He says he is interested in taking violin lessons. We have a very old violin that belonged to my great uncle. I don't know if it is salvageable. But I'd like you to take a look at it and tell me what it would cost to get it ready to play. Also, I'd like to know what you charge for lessons. Okay - thanks. Very impressive bio! :)

Bill is a superb player and instructor! My first experience with the violin was in the 4th grade because of a constant push from my parents. I could never get inspired, so I screeched along off and on over the years. Every few years I would give it another dismal try. As an older student, I took lessons from a well-known instructor who gave me a slight lift through rigid and unexciting music. My poor family suffered through my practicing and graciously supported my efforts that once again came to an end. Several years later I heard Bill playing in a restaurant – WOW – I loved his style. I am finally really inspired and actually progressing in my ability now that I’m taking lessons from Bill. Nowadays, I use my practice time as relaxation and enjoyment, plus my family doesn’t want to run when I play. Bill’s flexible teaching methods fit students of all ages and abilities as well as versatility in music interests. He is creative in involving and inspiring students though community performances and other projects such as his January 2007 CD release of “Fiddlin’ For Fun.” I highly recommend Bill as an instructor and professional performer.
