Organization Or Non Organization

Welcome to Bill Thurman's Music Website! I was born in Nashville, TN and mainly grew up in Memphis where I went to high school and the U. of Memphis. I was one of the back up string players in the Memphis Strings who played for Willie Mitchell, Al Green, OV Wright, Ann Peebles, Isaac Hayes, BJ Thomas, Chips Moman, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Jim Dickinson, and dozens of other music artists. Ancient Music from around the world is something that has fascinated me for most of my life. You can occasionally hear this in my music. I have always loved folk tradition music from many cultures. I've always been an admirer of musicians like Bartok, Debussy, Stravinsky, and Manuel de Falla. I sell my CDs - Fiddlin My Life Away, The Celtic Collection, Pullin' A Few Strings, (which features the small harp AND violin) Fiddlin' For Fun, The Original Music, La Rotta (the single) and more by way of CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody, Spotify and more online sites. I also sell the CDs the old fashioned way. Just contact me HERE and tell me your information and which ones you want and I will send them to you if you want to send me a bank check or money order. You may contact me at the site here or by using: bill.masterofmusic@gmail.com I TEACH THE FIDDLE - Violin - Viola And Guitar IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS These days I play blues, swing, light classical music for weddings, Oldtime fiddle,The Myriad Strings, and compose and produce music and write my blog of many subjects.
